How are you different than other companies or independent college counselors?

Finding the right chemistry with a college coach is just as important as finding someone with knowledge and expertise in the area. And we like to think we've found the sweet spot. All of our coaches are young enough to be "cool" (or we think so anyway!) and old enough to have some solid experience. 

 

How can you help us?

Let us save you time and money. Instead of stressing all summer and senior year over the essays and the many moving parts of the application file, we will work with your child in just a few sessions to craft rich and insightful essays and get organized. Poof! Done! And, with our expert knowledge of the colleges around the world, we will help you come up with a targeted college list that matches your child's personality, strengths, and interests, ensuring that your tuition investment is spent wisely. 

 

But my child has a college counselor at school...

Unfortunately, college counselors are stretched thin. While they may help with a school list, they will likely not sit with your child and craft beautiful essays. Most students, whether they have the benefit of a college counselor at school or not, now use an expert to guide them through the process. With college lists now ranging from 10-20 schools, there are simply too many balls to juggle. The Enrichery coaches are familiar with most Houston-based school counselors, and frequently work together. 

 

When should we begin working with you?

The earlier, the better! Starting as early as 8th grade, we can help your child with educational planning so that he or she can make the most out of high school. In 9th, 10th, and 11th grade, we can help students strategically build their resumes and course selection, come up with testing schedules, and begin the college search. We generally start the actual college application process during the summer before senior year in June.
